觀世音菩薩又稱觀音佛祖、觀音大士、南海觀音、觀音媽...等。 觀世音菩薩雖名菩薩，但在無量劫前即已成佛，號「正法明如來」，因感眾生陷於無明苦海，輪迴六道之中，乃持悲願，倒駕慈航示現菩薩相救濟世間苦，觀世音菩薩大慈大悲聞聲救苦救難，神通廣大為娑婆世界眾生所景仰，法力無邊廣濟人天普渡眾生。
Guanyin, Buddhist bodhisattva, also known as Avalokiteśvara. The full name is Guanshiyin which means "Observing the sounds or cries of the world." He represents mercy and compassion.
「韋馱護法尊者」是二十諸天護法天神之一，受到佛祖釋迦牟尼的囑託，是保護佛寺、僧尼的守護神。
