觀音佛祖安座三十一週年紀念日暨各項建設落成剪綵典禮，各界貴賓蒞臨剪綵盛況

The 31st Anniversary and The Inauguration Ceremony

The principal deity of Houde ZiZhu Temple is Guanyin, Buddhist bodhisattva. During Jiajing Emperor in Qing dynasty, the Chen family together with other 6 family settled down in this area and worship Guanyin (wakemitama from Neimen Zizhusi Temple) Since then, more and more pilgrims have started gathering and worshipped Guanyin here.

Located within Nanhua District near Wushan health trail (a 12-kilometer trail), Houde ZiZhu Temple faces Jianan Plain, allowing one to look into the distant mountains in Kaohsiung as well as the near view of rolling hills.

厚德.紫竹寺位於稜線上的烏山健康步道，寺旁有多條登山步道，是南台灣極少見的中級登山步道，全程幽緻清雅，樹蔭下更設有多個石桌石椅，供人泡茶聊天，寺內也提供午餐與住宿。厚德.紫竹寺除了可蒞臨參拜祈福，更是休閒遊憩的好地方。周邊景點有烏山台灣彌猴保護區、南化水庫、寶光聖堂…等景點
